Skipping Timetable
Let’s work together to make a suitable skipping time table to do what is best for your school.
To make a skipping timetable for an all day skipping workshop, one successful route is to first, put the assembly on the plan for the end of the day. Then share the remaining time out amongst the other classes.
We would recommend around 45 minutes for an assembly and some of the times is used with classes moving in and out of the hall. In many cases, an assembly timetabled for 2.45pm does not begin until 2.55pm as one class may run late.
I can work with all classes including nursery if you have one .

The Skipping Assembly
The assembly is an opportunity for the audience to see what each class has been learning and the stars of this show are the children. It is a very effective way for the staff and children to learn the broad subject of skipping. I deliver different activities with each class, and so when this is demonstrated in a children’s assembly, the audience will see around twenty or thirty new skipping activities that will inspire them to practice skipping.
Throughout the day, I shall ask for a few skippers to share tricks in the assembly. Then at the end of the day, a few representatives from each class can walk out from the audience to skip in front of their peers. The assembly recommendation is optional, if you do not want to use time for an assembly, perhaps this time could be workshop time instead.
