I provide a range of skipping courses to suit your school budget.

 A FUN SKIPPING DAY

Each group or class of children join in and learn a variety of jump rope tricks..  This skipping course will teach beginners how to skip and experienced skippers the latest cool skipping tricks, catering for all abilities and ages.

For longer time tables we can teach French skipping , Partner Skipping and Long Rope too. We can also arrange the timetable with a special skipping assembly at the end of the day. This is planned to show and share the different ways that your children have learnt to skip. The skipping assembly will improve everyone’s knowledge of skipping as it is visual and informative.

For medium to large size schools, you may  require two skipping days if you wish for every class to have a turn.  You will receive a 20% discount on a two day booking.

 

DEVELOP A SKIPPING ZONE FOR PLAYTIME

I can train a specific small group of children to be skipping helpers and with the helpers, we can make a show to share with others too . With the help of adults like dinner supervisors, the children can help to coach the other school children skipping at break time in a designated area known as A SKIPPING ZONE.

In this course, the children will learn their duties as a skipping helpers, for example, how to teach new skippers, how to turn long ropes correctly , fun playground skipping games with little queuing and how to tidy the ropes quickly and safely.

This is a great opportunity for the DINNERTIME SUPERVISORS to observe. Staff are welcome to skip too but do not have to.

With a collaboration between the children and dinnertime supervisors, we will be able to make skipping, a high impact activity for children to play safely at lunch time. This method is highly effective and improves playground behaviour because the children are occupied when they skipping. I have seen this system work time and time again and assure you that this course will make a high impact.

 

AFTER SCHOOL SKIPPING

We can TEACH YOUR STAFF  all different aspects of skipping to help their P.E lessons or we can deliver a CHILDREN’S AFTER SCHOOL SKIPPING CLUBS for you.  We can also create a skipping project where the children train up, to perform a high quality skipping show.  I am circus trained and love making shows.  Many people forget, that skipping is a circus skill.   This has been my pathway into becoming a skipping teacher.   Please enjoy this skipping routine, by the Cirque du Soleil.

ADVANCED SKIPPING.

Once your school has the skipping bug, we can organise a second visit to train in more advanced techniques such as The Egg Whisk, Double Under Jump Rope Skipping and Double Dutch skipping.
